The real tallbike
Except my penny farthings this for sure is my tallest bicycle, and i think it one of the tallest veteran bicycles ever built: my Premier Helical, made in the UK, around 1897. Its so tall the when i ride it i hardly can reach the pedals, but thats the fun too 🙂
I bought it some years ago at a fine british shop for old bikes ans it was a lot of work until it was rideable. The whole frame was very rusty and the wheels were in a bad condition. On the front wheel there was still the origin tire mounted, not rideable but very intersting -made of leather!
Its now rideable and i use it some times, its a real eyecatcher in the streets, but its always a challenge to get on it and even harder to get off again.
